Why me

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I ran creators and paid ads as one engine. Here the same playbook meets body care, from The Hand Cream to the Rosemary Hair Duo. I have not run this category, so the claims sheet and the category rules come before the first brief.

Why now

  • 3017

    Reviews on The Body Duo

The Body Duo carries 3017 reviews at 4.7. That is proof creators can point to without inventing anything.

    Published
  • 346

Reviews on the travel Body Retinol

The Body Retinol | 0.1% Retinol | Travel has 346 reviews at 4.5 and a $35.00 price. A natural first test for a night-routine format.

  • New

The Hair Moisture Duo just launched

The home page leads with New. The Hair Moisture Duo. A fresh launch gives creators a first-look hook with no history to explain.

Part 4 of 15

How it runs

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, $1 target (Proposed). Every brief, pay band and cut is judged against it. The simulator starts at $5.74, so the first weeks are about closing that gap.

  2. One variable per test

Each batch changes one thing: hook, product or first shot. Seven videos per creator per week gives enough reps. Losers are killed early and winners enter the hook library.

  3. Claims sheet before brief

Creators get approved lines like Hand Care Is The New Face Care. Anything off the sheet goes to the lead first. A draft that breaks it earns no bonus.

  4. Ramp, then cap

Two creators a week up to 10, six weeks. Monthly ceiling $15,000 at the top cap, bonuses excluded. Nobody scales before the numbers say so.

One channel for everything

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. MayaMon 8:30 AM

This week: The Hand Cream, now in Eucalyptus and Olibanum. One hook per video, seven videos each. Use only lines from the claims sheet. Drafts in #drafts by Wednesday.

  2. JulesMon 11:15 AM

Can I say The Body Retinol gets rid of wrinkles in my night routine video?

No. Say what the brand reported: 82% Reported Less Wrinkles, and say reported. Never present it as a promise. Add the line to your script.

  3. Weekly botAppMon 9:00 AM

Report posted: views by creator, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, best hook, and the formats cut this week. Open it before the Monday call.

  4. MayaWed 2:40 PM

Draft sent back. The hook lands in the first second, but the caption says every order ships free. Free US shipping starts at $75+. Fix the caption and resend.

  5. Weekly botAppFri 4:05 PM

Priya's Rosemary Hair Duo video passed 100,000 views, organic. $50 flat bonus queued. Next step: a paid test of the same video with one variable changed.

  6. MayaThu 10:00 AM

Check before you post: has everyone confirmed the Subscribe & Save 15% wording with me? Shipping under $75 shows two prices on the site.

Confirmed on my side, Maya. I will skip the shipping price and only say free US shipping on orders $75+.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Sink-side hand routine

    Brief 01

    Sink-side hand routine

“Hand Care Is The New Face Care.”

Sink, daylight, one take: wash, apply The Hand Cream in Olibanum, show the 65 ml tube to camera at the end.

  2. Night routine, body

    Brief 02

    Night routine, body

“My night routine has one step for my body.”

Bathroom mirror, evening light. Apply The Body Retinol, show reported survey lines on screen as reported, never as promises.

  3. The big lotion by the shower

    Brief 03

The big lotion by the shower

“Why the big lotion lives next to my shower.”

Handheld in the bathroom: pump The Body Lotion 450 ml, rub in, talk about texture and the Fragrance-Free choice.

  4. Rosemary hair day

    Brief 04

    Rosemary hair day

“Rosemary hair day, start to finish.”

Shower to mirror in one continuous clip: shampoo, conditioner, towel off. Show both 500 ml bottles. No result claims.

  5. Eucalyptus shower

    Brief 05

    Eucalyptus shower

“One shower, one body wash, all Eucalyptus.”

Steam, close shots of The Body Wash | Multi-Oil in Eucalyptus, pour and lather. Talk about scent and texture only.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Hand Care Is The New Face Care.”, “Free US Shipping | Orders $75+”, “Every subscription order receives a 15% discount.”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Existing customers

Buyers of The Body Duo, which carries 3017 reviews at 4.7, are the likeliest to post honestly. We ask the brand to invite them by email.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

An affiliate or ambassador page was not found on the site, so there is no existing program to inherit. The roster starts clean.

  • Short-video search

Search hand, body and hair routines. Shortlist people who already show a routine product by product, not a single hold-up shot.

  • Long-form routine reviewers

Creators who review products at length in hair, hand and body care, where a Rosemary Hair Duo or Body Retinol test fits.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Routine on camera

Shows a real routine, not only a product held up to the lens.

  2. 2Clean claims history

Past posts avoid health promises and before-and-after boasts.

  3. 3Organic reach holds

Typical views hold up without paid support across the last posts.

  4. 4Uses the category

Already uses body, hand or hair products and can name the step.

  5. 5Takes direction

Accepts one-variable briefs and a returned draft without friction.

Part 7 of 15

Who

  • Desk-and-sink hand washer

Washes hands all day and wants a hand routine on camera that looks easy.

Likely product: The Hand Cream | Multi-Butter

  • Night-routine person

Already films evening skin routines and can add one body step.

Likely product: The Body Retinol | 0.1% Retinol | Travel

  • Post-shower body care fan

Shows the full bathroom shelf and the lotion that stays by the shower.

Likely product: The Body Lotion 450 ml | Multi-Peptide

  • Rosemary hair routine

Posts hair wash days and shows the whole routine, start to finish.

Likely product: Rosemary Hair Duo | Multi-Protein

  • New-launch first looker

Likes being first to try a launch and says what they see.

Likely product: The Hair Moisture Duo

  • Gift and home-sink stylist

Styles the sink, the counter and gift moments in clean, calm videos.

Likely product: The Hand Wash + The Hand Lotion Gift Set

Left off, every time

Always out: creators who promise medical or skin outcomes, compare Nécessaire to named rivals, post before-and-after claims, or will not use the claims sheet. In body care, outcomes are only the brand's own reported survey wording.

Part 9 of 15

Claims sheet

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Hand Care Is The New Face Care.”

Hand Cream and gift set videos, as the opening line.

  • “Free US Shipping | Orders $75+”

Any video that ends on the product page or cart.

  • “Every subscription order receives a 15% discount.”

Replenishment and routine videos that mention subscribing.

  • “100% Said Skin Felt Moisturized”

The Body Lotion 70 ml videos, said as the brand's survey result.

  • “96% Said My Scalp Feels Hydrated”

Shampoo, conditioner and scalp serum videos, as survey wording.

  • “We are Climate Neutral Certified, Plastic Neutral Certified and a 1% For The Planet Member.”

Packaging and brand-values segments of any routine video.

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Never say The Body Retinol erases wrinkles

An appearance outcome promise beyond the brand's reported survey wording.

  • Never say the Scalp Serum stops flaking for good

A permanent medical-style promise; only the brand's reported survey lines are allowed.

  • Never say the Rosemary Hair Duo regrows hair

An outcome promise about hair growth that the site does not make.

  • Never say The Body Retinol is safe during pregnancy

Medical advice a creator cannot give; send questions to the brand.

  • Never say every order ships free

A shipping claim the site contradicts; free shipping starts at a minimum order.

  • Never say Nécessaire beats another brand

A comparison with a named rival that the brand has not backed.

  • Never say these products replace a dermatologist

A medical promise, outside what a creator can say.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Standard shipping under $75

The site shows $8 in one place and $7 in another. Creators say only free US shipping on orders $75+ until confirmed.

  • B Corp Certified

Appears as a store block next to the other certifications; confirm current status before creators mention it.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: new voices with steady organic views, paid on a base with a low cap while hooks are tested.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: creators whose last posts hold views and who deliver on schedule, with a higher cap.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: proven repeat performers who bring the strongest hooks and take direction well.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One view bonus per creator per month, no matter how many videos pass 100,000 views.
  • The bonus is per video: the single video that passes 100,000 views earns $50 flat.
  • Organic views only: paid boosts and reposted views do not count toward the bonus.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule, even if it took off.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

Today's inputs give $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1 target. To hit it, 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

  2. Month 1

    Hooks, not scale

Seven videos per creator per week across five formats. One variable per test, losers killed early, first entries in the hook library.

  3. Month 2

    Cut and double down

Drop the weakest formats and creators. Move winners up a pay band. Test hooks on The Hand Cream and The Body Retinol first.

  4. Month 3

    Full roster

All 10 creators live, around 303 videos a month. First winning videos go to paid with one variable changed.

  5. Day ninety

    Read the number

Compare cost per 1,000 views with the $1 target. If it is not close, change the creator mix or the hooks before adding spend.

  6. Monthly ceiling

    $15,000 at the top cap

All 10 creators at the top cap, bonuses excluded (Proposed). The roster never passes this ceiling without a new decision.

The roster grows by two creators a week, so hook performance can be read week over week instead of by anecdote.

To paid

From organic to paid

  1. Post organic first

Every video goes live on the creator's own account. No paid support until the first week of views is in.

  2. Pick the winners

A video that passes 100,000 views, or beats the cost per 1,000 views target, moves to the shortlist for paid.

  3. Check rights and claims

Confirm usage rights and re-check the claims sheet before a single dollar of paid goes behind it.

  4. Paid test, one variable

Run the winner with one variable changed: hook, first shot or end card. Keep what lowers cost per 1,000 views.

Category rules

Body care rules

Body care sits close to skin and hair claims. Creators stay with what the brand says, in the brand's words, and say when it is a survey result.

  • Survey results are reported

Lines like 85% Reported More Even Skin Texture are self-reported survey results. Say reported, name the product, and never present the figure as a guarantee.

  • No outcome promises

No promises about wrinkles, flaking, hair regrowth or any skin change. Describe texture, scent, feel and routine instead.

  • No medical advice

Questions about pregnancy, skin conditions or allergies go to the brand lead. A creator never answers them on camera.

  • Retinol needs care

For The Body Retinol, show the night routine and the reported results as reported. Do not give strength or frequency advice beyond the product page.

  • No named rival comparisons

Never put Nécessaire next to another brand and say it wins. Talk about what you use, how it feels and why it stays in your routine.

  • Disclose every partnership

Every video says it is a paid partnership, in the caption and on camera. A post without disclosure earns no pay band move and no bonus.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
